OfficeSuite, previously known as OfficeSuite Viewer, is a free document reader and creator for Android. In order to edit existing documents, you'll need to download the Pro version, but you can edit the files you create from templates for free.
Limited editing options
OfficeSuite opens Word, PowerPoint, Exce,l and PDFs, as well as supporting a wide variety of file formats. Frustratingly, most of the features in the app are restricted to the Pro version. What you can do is create a document from a template, edit it, and save it to the location of your choice. However, the adverts are particularly intrusive and make the editing and viewing processes unpleasant.
There are some interesting advanced options, such as the ability to add an FTP site, and access and edit the files stored remotely.
You don't get much for freeThe app is easy enough to use, with tabs for recent documents, as well as the ability to filter and search for files. If the free version was designed to show just the options you can use without paying it would be a real improvement.
